Drava - Interblock
...VS...
Drava started with 2 zeros and now there's high time they start collecting
points following the great finish in the last season. Coach
Besek showed he
can prepare his team to beat any team in the historical city of Ptuj and fans
are backing him all the way there.
Though lost vs
Maribor (they were in huge need of a good result as I told
in my earlier posts) and away at
Primorje (1-2 in the 85') they certainly have
more to show than that. The "new" forward
Kmetec, well known in Slovenian league,
showed he can be dangerous and also that he can score. Now it's time he
presents himself infront of the home crowd with a goal (or two).
Also
Zilic, Tisnikar and the rest of the attack will be challenged to score...
I'm sure
Besek will find the best solution for the imo overrated Interblock
team (defence).
Interblock collected a win and a draw from the 1st two encounters and I would
immediately add with much luck and help of the "men in black" as well.
Nafta (1-0) was beaten in the 93' minute from a very suspicious penalty (I'd
say all penalties in the added time are...), the game was poor as well, even
if they had the posession (2nd half).
The next home game vs
Celje (1-1) was even luckier for them, as Celje
prevailed most of the game and the Interblock's equalizer was not a goal
as the ball hasn't crossed the line (not even half of it)

Interblock meanwhile signed another "star name"
Rodic, who returned from
abroad and signed during the week. So another significant signing, but again
I'm not impressed at all so far. They showed nothing special and for their
play the overachieved in points (as explained above).
I see
Drava as the favs here and they will be the first imo to show a rough
landing to the "star team" of Interblock.
